  • Really fun and well done

I don’t get what all the hate is about. It’s a lot of fun and well made. Characters were great, effects were great. It was great. Worth the $20 and without a trip to the cinema.
  • Happy ending was denied

It was alright, but I dont understand the hype around it. Last 10 minutes of the movie are great. Wonderful acting by cast. My biggest question is what was the point of focusing on Mia sneezing at the beginning??

Now that’s how you do as unique idea in the genre and use quality writing to back it up. Great plot!

Really well written and acted. Worth a watch!
  • Don’t set expectations too high

I just finished watching this film and thought it was a decent horror movie, but didn’t feel that it warrants its extremely high metacritic score. Neat concept that plays upon some modern tropes, but found the first half of the movie to be a bit sporadic and hard to watch. Unfortunately, I feel like the movie ends as the plot is really getting started and it rushes to an abrupt ending. Love horror movies, but felt this film was way overhyped.
  • Super Let Down

Bought this with high hopes. Extremely let down. Not scary one bit don’t understand the high praise. Not worth a rent or the $20 I paid given the high reviews, and I’m not that hard to please given the genre.
  • Very good movie

  • A real horror movie - yay!

Saw in theaters. I was delightfully surprised as how well they told this story. I’ve watch a lot of horror over the years but this is one of the best - in a very long time. I think the tyranny of psychological thrillers proclaiming to be the real horror movies is finally coming to an end. Seriously the horror genre has been on life support for over 10 years. But I’ve been seeing gems like this movie coming out more and more - big surprise - they’re making money! Let’s shove that psychological cr*p & their indecisive “was it all a dream?” Plot points back to the drama sections where they belong and let us horror fans have our horror! Scary, creeping, gory, jump scares and popcorn and tell a d*m good story while you’re doing it. That’s what we want - simple! Thank u for reading.
